Paul Greene, a former athlete who represented Australia in sprinting at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, was discovered by Midnight Oil's Rob Hirst and collaborated with him on the 2005 album In the Stealth of Summer.

Since becoming a full time musician Greene has independently sold almost 50,000 albums and gained an extremely loyal band of followers around the Australia.

His latest album, Distance over Time, showcases Greene's songwriting skills and has received rave reviews from the likes of The Sydney Morning Herald, The Daily Telegraph and Nova who declared him "Australia's best unsigned acoustic act". The album was ABC National Album of The Week in late 2008 and has been a fixture in the iTunes Roots Top 10 Albums since its release.
